Shopping facilities in Slough are fantastic. The High Street starts at its western end next to Slough Library and with a strong concentration of financial services and estate agents. Moving eastward down the High Street, the Village Shopping Centre on the right hand side includes over forty independent retailers many of them offering specialist merchandise.
On the opposite side of the High Street lies one of six entrances to the Queensmere Shopping Centre.

New Homes and estates flourish and neighbour Slough's traditional residential areas. Slough is less well known for its parks, open spaces and waterways, which provide a beauty to the area.
