Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The 170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. Construction of the new integrated critical care unit has commenced and is due to be completed 2017, and plans to extend the neonatal unit are underway.
We provide high quality, friendly and effective community health services from multiple sites covering Walsall. Our multidisciplinary services include rapid response and homebased care, so that those with long term conditions and the frail elderly can remain in their own homes.

Theatre Services are looking for enthusiastic, dedicated and flexible
members of staff to join our team of theatre practitioners.
theater department is situated in the theater Anesthetics and Critical Care Care Group staff interested will have opportunities to rotate between department within the care group to gain relevant skills and competences

If interested candidates who are already multi - skilled theatre practitioners if successful candidates will have the opportunity to rotate within theatres to cover all specialities. The successful candidates must be prepared to participate in the on - call rota.

There are position available in in the following specialities:
General Surgery
Trauma and orthopedic
Anesthetics and recovery
ENT and Dental

Opportunities to rotation between specialities will be considered

You will need to be a Registered Nurse with a recognised theatre qualification, Operating Department Practitioner or a trainee ODP who is due to qualify in January 2018

Applicants should note that if successful at interview, the offer of appointment would be subject to vetting procedures undertaken by the Criminal Records Bureau.

This is NOT applicable to newly qualified staff
