Are you looking for an apprenticeship in administration to develop skills, technical and practical knowledge through a work-based training programme? If you are you interested in joining a busy, dynamic team that sits at the centre of patient and staff safety, then please read on.
NELFT's Quality and Patient Safety department is currently based in Basildon, Essex and is offering a unique opportunity for the 'the right person' to join the Quality Assurance team as an Apprentice. On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will move in to a Team Administrator, Band 3 role, providing administration to the Health & Safety team, the Mental Health Act team and support into policy work.
The apprenticeship will last for 12 months and consist of in-house training and close working with the quality governance manager who will monitor your progress. In addition to the development programme, you will receive a local and corporate induction.
To be successful you will be inquisitive and organised and eager to embark on a development programme that will give you key skills required for a effective an efficient administrative role.
You will have already achieved an NVQ level 2 or equivalent standard of literacy and numeracy and an NVQ in Administration/Customer Service Level 3 or an equivalent level of proven experience.
This post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
This post will initially begin at Band 2 then to Band 3 on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
At NELFT we set very high standards to ensure we provide quality services. We require prospective employees to carry out an online literacy and numeracy test, equivalent to NVQ Level 2. If you are successful at interview for this post, you will be required to undertake an assessment for these skills during the pre-employment checks.
Successful candidates will be invited to attend an interview week commencing 7th August 2017.
This post also attracts payment for High Cost Area Supplement of 5% of the basic salary (with a minimum of 971 to a maximum of 1,682).
