An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Acute Oncology Team as a Band 7 (subject to Agenda for Change) Acute Oncology and Cancer of Unknown Primary Clinical Nurse Specialist. We are seeking an enthusiastic, dynamic, proactive and highly motivated nurse to join our team. You must have a high level of knowledge and expertise relating to care and management of Acute Oncology patients and be able to provide professional leadership and responsibility for the service. The post holder will work collaboratively with members of the multidisciplinary team, they will participate and lead on service development to improve patient experience based on best practice models of care being responsive to patient feedback and audit findings. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and organisational skills that can help this particular group of patients and their relatives with their individual clinical, psychological and social needs.
