We are seeking to recruit School Nurses to join the School Public Health service in Kent .
Opportunities have arisen within the Kent School Health Service for an enthusiastic and highly motivated year round School Nurse, Band 6 (SCPHN).
The ideal candidate will therefore have:
- A Specialist Community Public Health qualification (School Nursing)
- Flexible approach to meet the needs of the service
- Be an effective communicator on all levels, with the ability to provide advice and resolve issues
- Be passionate about delivering a responsive customer service to Children and Young People
- Be able to work under pressure and to deadlines
- Be organised and meticulous, with an eye for detail
- I.T literate

As a dynamic organisation, with a fast changing service provision we take a flexible approach in terms of what we are able to offer. This means that we reserve the right to change the hours detailed in this advert to full time or part-time to meet the service requirements.
For Agenda for Change posts based within the Dartford, Gravesham & Swanley areas of Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust also receive an allowance of a 5% high cost area allowance on top of basic salary up to a maximum of 1,682. Please note that this element does not apply to bank positions.
