The role of Integrated Community Teams within Bromley is to provide high quality; effective community based health services that reflect the needs of the local population complement the work of the general practitioners to provide high quality care to our patients.
Bromley Healthcare has a number of exciting vacancies for Qualified District Nurses or very experienced community nurses in our Integrated Community Teams across the Borough. The District Nurse/Senior Community Staff Nurse is a key member of the Integrated Community Team, providing robust clinical services for patients, working closely with allocated GP practices across our Integrated Care Networks and with members of the team from other professions, putting the patient at the centre of their care.
The District Nurse/Senior Community Staff Nurse is responsible for the management of a defined caseload of patients and carries continuing responsibility for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes. You will be accountable for the standards of care and for determining the activity of your team of support staff.
This is a challenging and exciting position where you will be supported both within your teams by regular clinical reflection and professional training.
You will also find that Bromley Healthcare is a unique organisation to work for. Community health services are very wide ranging. From health visiting to district nursing, school nurses to specialist nurses, Bromley Healthcare's services help new parents to care for new born children and older people to continue living at home through care and support. They also have a wide range of therapy services for adults and children, including speech and language therapy, physiotherapy and occupational therapy whilst specialist services focused on preventing diseases and supporting those living with specific conditions such as Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) or Diabetes

It is essential that you are a car driver with a current licence and access to a car for work purposes and can work a rota working an average of one late shift per week ( until 22.30)
