An opportunity has arisen within the Environmental Management Department of Estates & Facilities for an experienced Maintenance Craftsperson (Plumber) Band 4.

The role will involve the following key activities across all Trust sites:

- Reporting to the Water Quality and Decontamination Estates Officer

- Contribute to the maintenance of the fabric Trust property

- Carry out surveys of domestic water systems

- Review and update schematic drawings

- Attend water quality training courses to keep up to date with changes in legislation

- Ensure that Legionellosis Management and Control Log books are kept up to date and available for inspection

- Have a flexible approach towards the need to change working hours at short notice to suit the needs of the Trust and its patients

These activities are critical to the provision of safe and effective patient care, allowing the Trust to deliver healthcare at its very best with a personal touch.

The post holder will be working within the Operational Department of the Estates & Facilities Directorate. This team prides itself on working closely with Microbiology and Infection Prevention & Control to collectively maintain water quality across the Trust's healthcare sites.
