We have an exciting opportunity in the Workforce Systems Team for 2 full-time HR Helpdesk Support Officers whose main function will be to provide support (via telephone and email) to all staff in order to assist them with their use of the Trust's computerised Workforce Systems, (for example ESR and HealthRoster).
The post-holders will undertake a System Administration role, ensuring applications for system access are appropriate and approved in accordance with Trust/Audit procedures, including revoking access as and when required. They will also maintain the HR/Time & Attendance (T & A) systems by undertaking data cleansing/comparing data from different sources to ensure quality, consistency and accuracy, ensuring robust mechanisms are in place to protect the integrity of data within the Workforce Systems.
A friendly, professional and co-operative approach to all users is required when providing helpdesk support. You will need to display empathy when communicating with service users on the use of the systems and when explaining reasons why HR/T & A systems may not be performing as expected and impacting on services.
Applicants must have a thorough knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office packages (in particular Excel and Word), demonstrate effective interpersonal, organisational, presentation and communication skills (oral and written) and be familiar with/have an understanding of computerised HR Systems. Applicants should also have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as being able to work as part of a team sharing best practice and advice.
Essential Criteria includes:
* ECDL / RSA III typing or equivalent experience.
The post will be based at Cobalt Business Park but the post holder may be required to work at other sites within the Trust.
The post will be subject to a probationary period. Internal applicants are exempt from the probationary period (unless you are an internal applicant currently part way through a probationary period or currently a bank member of staff).
