Job Description:
Account Manager - Media Sales London EC1 Up to £28,000 (OTE £35,000) Plus 25 Days' Holiday, Pension Scheme Are you a talented sales professional with the ambition to move into an account director role£ If so, this could be the position for you. Our client is an expert in business to business communications for the news and convenience sectors. An opportunity has now arisen for a talented Account Manager to join their growing team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling advertising and sponsorship solutions across the company's print, face 2 face and web divisions. For the right person, this position offers good scope to progress into a director role. Working with some of the largest FMCG brands in the world, as well as smaller companies operating in the UK retail sector, your role will involve a mixture of account management and new business development. As such you'll need the ability to develop strong relationships and the creativity to uncover new opportunities. As an Account Manager your duties will include: - managing and developing new and existing business - developing strong and sustainable working relationships with internal and external customers - positioning the company, through contact with clients and their agencies, as the first choice To be considered for this position, you must have proven B2B sales experience, including a track record of account management. You will also need to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills coupled with a history of hitting targets. Proactive, tenacious and target driven, as the Account Manager you should also have a clear desire to develop your sales career towards an account director level, and excellent presentation abilities. Media sales experience would be beneficial to your application, but is not essential.
